About Offensive Intelligence

A cybersecurity education company built for the era when your teammate — and your opponent — might be a machine.

Our Mission

The security industry has no shortage of courses, certifications, and content. What it lacks is training that feels like the real thing — and training that acknowledges how much the real thing has changed. Offensive Intelligence LLC exists to make offensive security genuinely learnable by turning authentic tradecraft into gamified missions, structured curriculum, and software that rewards doing over watching.

Our Thesis

Human operators working alongside AI models with offensive capability is the clear path forward. Models are already competent adversaries and remarkable teammates; pretending otherwise doesn't make anyone safer. The operators who will neutralize the next generation of threats are the ones who train with the machines now — who know from firsthand experience what AI can do, where it fails, and how to combine its speed with human judgment. We build the arena where that training happens, because embracing the shifting cyber landscape beats being surprised by it.

Our Approach

Everything we build starts from real operational experience, wrapped in game mechanics — objectives, scoring, progression, debriefs — because stakes and feedback are what turn knowledge into instinct. It takes two forms: CROT, the Custom Red Ops Toolkit, a free and open source community project developed in the open; and CROT PRO, our SaaS battle arena where operators and teams benchmark against LLMs and CTF challenges and learn from every match.

We hold our training to a simple standard: a learner should finish every mission able to do something they couldn't do before.

Professional Ethics

Teaching offensive skills — and working with offensive AI — carries responsibility. Our software, education, and tooling are provided solely for lawful learning and authorized security work, and our curriculum teaches the legal and ethical boundaries of the craft alongside the techniques themselves. When we take on advisory work, it is conducted exclusively under formal written authorization.

Leadership

Offensive Intelligence was founded by Benjamin Reitz, an offensive security practitioner focused on red team operations, capability development, and making the operator's craft teachable. Connect with him on LinkedIn.
